A former Allen & Overy and Clifford Chance lawyer, Pavandeep Gill (Pav) has extensive experience in financial services laws, focusing on payments and digital assets/cryptocurrencies. He recently led the legal teams in the Asia-Pacific region in a mix of full-time and advisory roles for companies including Wirecard and Wise before joining Zipmex, a digital assets and wealth generation platform based in Southeast Asia, as its Chief Legal Officer. Pav is best known for being the whistleblower who exposed Wirecard, one of Europe’s greatest financial scandals.

A venture capitalist, tech entrepreneur, and finance leader with over 15 years of cross-border experience, Nicolas has a deep understanding of tech-driven scalable business models. Expertise in fund management, Venture Capital, fund accounting, IPO, FP&A, US GAAP and IFRS, and Treasury makes him perfectly suited to be a part of the Zipmex brain trust. He also serves on a number of company Advisory Boards and is an active mentor in various Accelerators in Singapore.

A Bachelor of Business, Finance and Economics (Hons) graduate from the University of Technology Sydney, Jonathan is a seasoned banking professional who specialises in launching and scaling new products and divisions. Previously at ING, he led a Global Lending Program tasked with keeping ING at the forefront of digital innovation across 8 of its markets. With his executional expertise, Jonathan’s passionate about ensuring that the best product is brought to market.

Ken is obsessed with making Zipmex fun and seamless. For him, it’s about connecting with people to grow their wealth by offering the best product. He previously worked with Marcus at Oneflare as COO and Head of Analytics, where he grew the company by 60x. Ken brings nearly a decade of unrivalled experience in data analytics and big data, developing algorithms to understand consumer behaviour as part of formulating business strategy and user experience.

James has a rare skill of understanding both humans and code very well. He is a technology leader and an astute entrepreneur, who specifically oversaw several major transitions, including MySQL to PostgreSQL and memcached to redis. Since 2013, he has mined and coded many blockchain-related technological applications. He was previously the Head of Engineering at AirTasker where he designed and developed numerous APIs, along with other back-end infrastructure and systems design.

As a trained economist with both strategy and operational experience, Proud brings deep expertise in tech strategy and marketing to making finance fun. She has worked with private equity firms and multimillion dollar companies across nine countries, as well as invested in and built companies from scratch. She grew her latest manufacturing company by 16x in revenue within 3 years. Prior to Harvard Business School, Proud was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, focusing on establishing strategic initiatives for C-suite clients.

Kelvin has a larger than life personality that, combined with his fintech and e-commerce expertise, makes him the perfect person to spearhead current and new business ventures. A former employee of Bain Capital and Morgan Stanley, Kelvin knows the ins and outs of private equity firms, global commercial and investment banks, solicitor firms, and barrister chambers.
