As informed previously, the applications for an extension of time of the moratorium (the “Extension of Time Applications”) have been fixed for hearing on 2 December 2022 at 10 am to 11:30 am (Singapore time) (the “Hearing”).

Due to the recent exploit on BSC on 7 October 2022, Zipmex will temporarily suspend all deposits and withdrawals of BSC tokens as a precautionary measure.

Users are able to deposit & withdraw the 52 digital assets.Please also note that Zipmex has changed your wallet addresses, starting from 16 September 2022 onwards for 29 ERC-20 tokens.

Our solicitors in Singapore, Morgan Lewis Stamford LLC, have informed us that they have filed the 7th Affidavit of Lim Wei Xiong Marcus. The 7th Affidavit of Lim Wei Xiong Marcus contains financial information about the 5 applicant companies in the Zipmex Group that have commenced the moratorium proceedings in Singapore, as well as updates on the moratorium process and the restructuring plan generally.

Zipmex would like to summarize key points from the Town Hall on 14 September 2022 in reference to the orders made by the Singapore courts.

Zipmex will support Cardano’s “Vasil” network upgrade on 22 September 2022.

Zipmex is having its first ‘Town Hall’ meeting on Wednesday 14 September 2022.

Our solicitors in Singapore, Morgan Lewis Stamford LLC, have informed us that they have filed the 6th Affidavit of Lim Wei Xiong Marcus. The 6th Affidavit contains customer and creditor information of each of the applicant companies in various PDFs.

Any disclosure of Zipmex Pte Ltd’s information must be carried out with the utmost care and consideration to ensure that regulations are fully complied with and standards are duly observed.

Zipmex is changing your wallet addresses, starting from 7 September 2022 onwards. The affected digital asset wallet addresses are:BTC (Bitcoin), BCH (Bitcoin Cash), and XRP (Ripple).

To support Ethereum network upgrade, ETH and other ERC-20 token deposits and withdrawals will be temporarily paused on our exchange.

Members of the Zipmex executive team and our independent financial advisors and legal advisors from the various regions will be present at the Town Hall to provide an update on the current situation, to explain the moratorium process and the legal proceedings that have taken place and answer questions from creditors.

We’ll follow any and all announcements by Ethereum closely and let you know when the network upgrade is completed and deposit and withdrawal functionality is re-enabled. Follow our social channels to stay up to date.

Zipmex Thailand (“Company”) has the policy to conduct periodic verification of all accounts on our system to review the personal  information (“KYC”) and suitability test to make sure that all information on the system is as current and accurate as possible, as well as to assess the user’s risk level on investments.

Zipmex is in advanced stages of negotiations to finalise the commercial terms of our investment round with potential investors. We have requested a meeting with Thailand’s Securities Exchange Commission to introduce our potential investors and present our recovery plan if the investment is agreed upon and consummated.

As promised, Zipmex has re-enabled transfers from Z Wallet to Trade Wallet for ZMT. ZMT transfers are only available on the Zipmex website and not on the Zipmex App.

[Zipmex] wishes to announce that representatives from KordaMentha Pte Ltd have been engaged as financial advisors and proposed scheme managers to assist [Zipmex] through the restructuring process.

Trading for all tokens has already been enabled. Additionally, deposits and withdrawals are now supported for these tokens: MANA, GOGO, and AVAX.

Zipmex is re-enabling transfers from users’ Z Wallets to Trade Wallets on Thursday 25th August 2022 for ZMT first.

Our solicitors in Singapore, Morgan Lewis Stamford LLC, have informed us that the Singapore Court has issued the Orders of Court in each of the moratorium applications heard on 15 August 2022.

The disclosure of respective Customers’ Personal Data during the moratorium process to the Singapore Court was limited and only conducted to the extent necessary to comply with the requirements and conditions of the Singapore Court.

There will be a Siam Commercial Bank system maintenance. During this time, users will not be able to deposit and withdraw THB from SCB. However, the trading function and deposits and withdrawals with other banks will be operating as usual.

Our solicitors in Singapore, Morgan Lewis Stamford LLC, have informed us that the Singapore Court has today issued brief grounds of its decision for the hearing on 15 August 2022. Please be informed that the Singapore Court has today issued 5 correspondences to our solicitors in Singapore, Morgan Lewis Stamford LLC, with the directive that these be made immediately available to all parties concerned.

On 16 August 2022, Bitcoin holders will be transferred a capped amount of 0.0045 BTC from Z Wallet to the Trade Wallet. All customers will receive the same capped amount. Holders of less than or equal to 0.0045 BTC will receive the full amount of their assets in the Trade Wallet. 

That the moratorium as described in our announcements 27 July 2022, 29 July 2022, 1 August 2022, 4 August 2022, 10 August 2022 and 12 August 2022 (the “Moratorium Order(s)”) be extended until 2 December 2022 for all five of the Applicant Zipmex entities

On 11 August 2022, Ethereum holders will be transferred a capped amount of 0.08 ETH in Trade Wallet, debited from Z Wallet. All customers will receive the same amount. Holders of less than or equal to 0.08 ETH will receive their entire asset in the Trade Wallet.

In reference to the announcement made by Zipmex Asia regarding the release of a specific amount of ETH and BTC from Z Wallet on 11 and 16 August respectively, Zipmex Thailand has confirmed this timeline.

All Ripple (XRP) in your Z Wallet was credited to your Trade Wallet on 4 August 2022.

Zipmex (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) would like to clarify the situation we faced over the past week to provide transparency for customers, investors, the public, the media and all other parties. It also serves to present the facts and our point of view.

Pursuant to the Court’s directions, our solicitors in Singapore had earlier today effected the filing of the 2nd Affidavit of Marcus Lim, the Group’s CEO, in HC/OA 383/2022. Mr Lim had also commissioned his earlier draft affidavits and these have been filed today as well.

We would like to update that our solicitors in Singapore, Morgan Lewis Stamford LLC, had attended the case conference of the Moratorium Applications before the Singapore Court earlier this afternoon.

Zipmex has received many queries following the live announcement from the Security Exchange Commission (SEC). As stated previously, we have complied with the SEC as well as other government agencies’ requests. We reiterate that we have an audit trail and written evidence on all sequences of events.

We, Zipmex Co., ltd (“Zipmex Thailand”) would like to inform you that Zipmex Asia Pte Ltd. (Zipmex Thailand’s parent company registered in Singapore) and its affiliates, including Zipmex Thailand, have filed global moratorium applications in Singapore Court. This is to enable the Group as a whole to continue its discussions and conclusion on the investment processes with 3rd-party investors or white knights without any interruption.
