Anyone can create a token called PENGU. The only thing a scammer cannot copy is the contract address, so verifying it is the whole game. This guide gives you the official address, the bridged versions on other networks and a ten-second routine to check any token before you buy.
The official PENGU contract address on Solana
Bookmark it or copy it from the PENGU page on ZIPMEX, never from a chat message or a reply on X.
Three ways to verify it
- Jupiter strict list. Verified tokens carry a check mark in the ZIPMEX terminal and on Jupiter. A token with the right name but no check mark is a copy until proven otherwise.
- Solscan. Open the mint on Solscan and look at three things: the holder count (553,856 for the real PENGU), whether the mint authority is revoked, and the age of the token. A week-old PENGU with 300 holders is not PENGU.
- The official site. Compare the full address, character by character, with the one the project publishes. Look-alike addresses share the first and last characters on purpose.
PENGU on other networks
PENGU lives on Solana. The addresses below are bridged or wrapped versions issued by bridges, not by the project; they track the price but they are different tokens with their own risks.

Four scams that borrow the PENGU name
- Same ticker, new mint. Pump-and-dump tokens launch with the same name and logo every week. The address is different; the chart looks tempting for about an hour.
- "Airdrop" and "v2 migration" sites. PENGU has no migration and does not ask you to connect a wallet to claim anything. A site that does is draining wallets.
- Wrong network. Sending Solana tokens to an Ethereum address, or buying a bridged version thinking it is native, are the two most common ways to lose money without being scammed by anyone.
- Fake support. Nobody from ZIPMEX or the project will message you first, ask for a seed phrase or offer to "verify" your wallet.
