My DeFi Pet (DPET) in 2026: Trading Has Stopped, Here's What Is Left

My DeFi Pet in October 2026: CoinGecko shows DPET trading stopped, the game was renamed Onchamon and its new domain is gone. What still works.

· By ZIPMEX · 13 min read

As of 25 October 2026, CoinGecko says DPET, the token behind the My DeFi Pet game, "stopped trading" on every market it tracks. It shows 24-hour volume of $0.00. The project renamed itself Onchamon, but the onchamon.com domain listed on CoinGecko now redirects to an unrelated website. The original site, mydefipet.com, is still online. It shows contract details, download buttons and a 2021 copyright line, and gives no recent dates. If you are asking whether My DeFi Pet is still worth playing or buying, the evidence points to a project with almost no market activity left. No official statement explaining this was found.

Where DPET stands now (October 2026)

CoinGecko's DPET page, which carries a "last updated" date of 25 October 2026, lists:

  • Price: $0.003897
  • Market capitalisation: $195,758
  • 24-hour volume: $0.00, with the notice that DPET tokens have stopped trading
  • Circulating supply: 50.23 million DPET out of a 100 million maximum
  • All-time high: $9.92. CoinGecko gives no date, and an aggregator puts it at 25 July 2021 (not verified against a primary source).
  • All-time low: $0.0002288
  • Contract address: 0xfb62ae373aca027177d1c18ee0862817f9080d08
  • Networks: BNB Smart Chain, KardiaChain, Ethereum and opBNB

At that price, DPET is about 99.96% below the peak CoinGecko records. The sources do not agree with each other. CoinMarketCap shows only a "preview page" for DPET, with no market cap or volume, and lists 43.2 million tokens in circulation instead of 50.23 million. Price aggregators also differ. Read every figure here as a dated snapshot, not a live price.

The rename to Onchamon

CoinGecko and Staking Rewards now describe DPET as the token of "the Onchamon universe" running on BNB Smart Chain, opBNB and KardiaChain. CoinGecko lists onchamon.com as the project website and t.me/OnChaMon and twitter.com/OnChaMon as its social channels. When we checked on 25 October 2026, onchamon.com returned a permanent redirect (HTTP 301) to an unrelated domain. Search results attribute a list of planned features to the game's DappRadar page, including an Android app, solo PvP, Monster Hunter mode and Alliance Wars. DappRadar blocked our request, so that list is not verified, and there is no sign any of those features shipped.

CoinMarketCap still lists mydefipet.com, twitter.com/MyDeFiPet and t.me/mydefipet as the project's links. Two sets of official channels plus a lapsed domain is a warning sign in itself. Any site or channel claiming to be the project should be checked against the contract address above before you connect a wallet.

What My DeFi Pet was

My DeFi Pet is a virtual-pet game in which each pet is an NFT. It was built by TopeBox, a Vietnamese mobile game studio, together with the blockchain project KardiaChain. In April 2021, e27 (citing Tech in Asia) and CB Insights' profile of Megala Ventures reported that TopeBox had raised about $1 million for the game. The investors named were Axia8 Ventures and a venture arm tied to a crypto exchange, with Megala Ventures and Animoca Brands also taking part. We could not open the e27 article directly, so this account comes from search excerpts of it and from CB Insights.

Token sale and launch, 2021

ICO Drops lists these rounds:

RoundDatePrice per DPETRaised
Private saleQ2 2021$0.04$820,000 (20.5 million DPET)
Public IDO, launchpad 127 April 2021$0.08$130,000
Public IDO, launchpad 227 April 2021$0.08$50,000
Token generation event8 May 2021n/an/a

The rounds add up to the roughly $1 million reported in the press. Other private-sale backers on ICO Drops include Spark Digital Capital, Momentum 6, Digital Finance Group (DFG), Clover Ventures, Consensus Lab and Kardia Ventures. Having venture investors in 2021 says nothing about the token's health in 2026, as the numbers above show.

How the game works, per the official site

mydefipet.com describes the gameplay as follows:

  • Elements: pets belong to Fire, Water, Wind, Light, Dark or Earth.
  • Breeding: two pets produce offspring that inherit body and colour from their parents.
  • Evolution: pets advance through several stages, and later stages are stronger.
  • World Boss: players team up pets against a boss for rewards that include DPET.
  • Arena: PvP matches against other players for seasonal rewards.
  • Marketplace: players trade and auction pets.
  • Spirits: equippable items, levels 1 to 5 for each element.
  • Cages: hold pets and accumulate Silver or Gems, with a bonus when elements match.
  • Expeditions: send pets away to collect materials and rewards.
  • Governance: DPET holders vote on new features and settings.

The site offers PC, iOS and Android downloads and lists the same contract address under BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain) and KRC20 (KardiaChain). Its footer says "Copyright © My DeFi Pet 2021" and "Version v1.31". Its milestone counters for users, NFTs minted and holders showed no numbers when we loaded the page.

Holding DPET or pets? Check this first

Answer up to three questions to see what the October 2026 evidence means for what you hold.

  1. What do you have from My DeFi Pet, now renamed Onchamon?

  2. Do you play for rewards from World Boss, Arena or other paying modes?

  3. Has a website, app or channel asked you to connect your wallet or enter a seed phrase for DPET, My DeFi Pet or Onchamon?

Check on-chain before anything else

On 25 October 2026 CoinGecko reported that DPET had stopped trading on every market it tracks, with 24-hour volume of $0.00. A quoted price with no volume does not mean you can sell at that price. Looking up the contract address on a BNB Smart Chain explorer is free and shows your balance and whether transfers are still happening.

Treat it as a likely phishing attempt

onchamon.com now redirects to an unrelated domain, and the project lists two different sets of official channels. A lapsed former domain can be reused by anyone. Do not connect a wallet unless you can confirm the site through the contract address on a block explorer, and never enter a seed phrase.

Rewards have no reliable cash value

Every paying activity in the game pays out in DPET or in-game resources. With DPET not trading on any market CoinGecko tracks, those rewards cannot be counted on to turn into money. The planned Onchamon features listed in search results are not verified, and there is no sign they shipped.

Almost no market activity is left

CoinGecko shows no trading and $0.00 in 24-hour volume, a price about 99.96% below its recorded peak, and no official statement explaining the situation. CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap also disagree on the circulating supply. Treat every figure as a dated snapshot from 25 October 2026.

This sorts your situation using public data from 25 October 2026 only. It cannot see your wallet, confirm whether any sale or transfer will work, or tell you whether to buy, hold or sell.

What this means if you hold DPET or pets

  • Selling may not be possible. CoinGecko reports no trading on any market it tracks. A quoted price with no volume does not mean you can sell at that price.
  • Pets depend on the token. Every in-game activity that pays out does so in DPET or in-game resources. With DPET not trading, those rewards have no reliable cash value.
  • Phishing risk goes up when a domain lapses. A former official domain that now points somewhere else can be reused by anyone. Do not connect a wallet to any site that claims to be My DeFi Pet or Onchamon unless you can confirm it through the contract address on a block explorer. Never enter a seed phrase.
  • Checking on-chain is free. Look up the contract address on a BNB Smart Chain explorer to see whether transfers are still happening and to view your own balance.

What we removed and why

Earlier versions of this guide listed season prize pools, an egg price of 3 DPET, staking pool lock periods, transaction fees and speeds, and market statistics attributed to the Blockchain Game Alliance. None of these could be confirmed in a primary source, so they are gone. The guide also described the game's prospects as "on the right side" of industry trends, which current market data does not support.

Limitations: we could not reach the project's whitepaper, its blog or a block explorer, so market data comes from CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap on 25 October 2026 and funding details from press reports and ICO Drops.
