Binemon is a virtual-pet NFT game with idle-RPG elements. It launched on BNB Smart Chain on 24 August 2021. Players buy eggs that hatch into creatures called Mons, then use them in player-versus-environment (PvE) and player-versus-player (PvP) battles for crypto rewards. In October 2026 its governance token, BIN, still trades, but very thinly. CoinGecko showed a price of about $0.000106 and 24-hour volume of about $202 on 25 October 2026, against an all-time high of $0.04694.

How the game works
Mons: races, classes and body parts
Mons hatch from random eggs. According to CoinMarketCap, each one belongs to one of four races (dog, cat, unicorn, titan) and one of five classes (fighter, archer, mage, tank, support). CoinMarketCap Academy says each Mon has ten body parts, which widens the range of possible attributes. Rare body parts and stat bonuses can come from hatching or from fusing Mons. Epic items are used to upgrade characters.
Battles
In PvP, a player arranges five Mons into a formation before the fight. Combat is turn-based and time-limited, and the winner earns AMB and a chance to climb the rankings toward a seasonal award (CoinMarketCap).
CoinMarketCap Academy lists the modes as follows:
- PvE: campaign, world bosses, Ancient Tower.
- PvP: duels, arena, tournaments, guild wars, battlefield. The same source said some PvP features were still in development when it was written.
A duel win pays Ambrosia, Epic items and PvP ranking points.
Guilds, land and housing
Guilds own Castles, and guild wars are fought to conquer land. In the housing system, players choose a plot in an area called Bineland, build and decorate a house, and can sell the house or sell space in it for advertising (CoinMarketCap Academy). The game world spans five continents.

The marketplace charges a 2% buying fee and a 5% selling fee. According to CoinMarketCap, the fees fund marketing and product development. A Mon bought and later resold therefore loses about 7% of its value to fees before any change in price.
CoinMarketCap Academy calls the three-token structure confusing for newcomers. In practice, each step moves value between tokens with different liquidity: you buy BIN on the open market, earn AMB in battle, and trade Mons in DRK.
The Draken chain
The game itself runs on Draken, not on BNB Smart Chain. Project-linked listings on CoinMarketCap and Staking Rewards describe it as a proof-of-stake chain with up to 5,000 transactions per second, two-second blocks and a "DaRK" privacy protocol offering privacy on demand. Staking Rewards also describes a ranking layer called Proof-of-Honor. All of these figures come from the project itself.
What do marketplace fees take from a Mon flip?

- Purchase and resale prices are your own inputs, not figures from any source.
- The calculator assumes the buying fee is added to the price you pay and the selling fee is taken from the price you receive; at an unchanged price this gives the article's loss of about 7%.
- A negative result means the fees and any price drop outweighed the resale on the values entered.
This is arithmetic on your inputs only: it leaves out gas costs in BNB, the value of DRK, BIN or AMB in dollars, and whether a buyer exists at all in a thin market.
What it costs to start
Binemon is not free to play. CoinMarketCap Academy says players must pay upfront and acquire several monsters before they can battle. The basic path:
- Set up a wallet that supports BNB Smart Chain, such as MetaMask, and hold some BNB for gas.
- Get BIN, which on-chain is mainly available through a decentralised exchange on BNB Smart Chain.
- Buy eggs with BIN on the Binemon marketplace and hatch Mons, or buy grown Mons.
- Start with PvE to earn Ambrosia, then move to PvP.
Risks in 2026
- Thin market. About $202 of BIN traded over 24 hours on 25 October 2026, according to CoinGecko. At that volume, even small orders can move the price, and selling Mons or tokens may be slow or impossible.
- Price history. CoinGecko's price of about $0.000106 is more than 99% below its listed all-time high of $0.04694.
- Anonymous team. CoinMarketCap notes that the founders are not named on the website or in the whitepaper.
- Play-to-earn design. In-game income comes from token rewards whose value depends on other players buying in. Upfront spending on Mons should be treated as money that may not come back.
How it compares with My DeFi Pet
CoinMarketCap Academy compares Binemon with My DeFi Pet, a similar game. My DeFi Pet uses a single utility token, DPET, for trading, summoning eggs, breeding, evolving pets and governance. Both games have PvE and PvP, but My DeFi Pet uses seasons instead of campaigns and world bosses. It has no housing, guild wars or castles.
